Jhelum suffered three earthquakes on July 21st, all of which occurred within a 30-minute period. Around 4:10 AM, the first quake, which had a magnitude of 4.4, occurred, leading residents to leave their homes.
The second earthquake, measuring 3.1 in magnitude, occurred at 4:22 AM, and the third earthquake, measuring 3.4 in magnitude, occurred close to the city around 4:25 AM, according to the National Center for Seismology. The initial earthquake was 10 kilometers deep.
There have not yet been any immediate reports of casualties or property damage, according to the Jhelum police control center. To learn more about the earthquakes, however, people turned to social media platforms, where they published pictures of people assembling outside of their buildings.
