A spokeswoman for the family said in a statement that the 18-year-old was attended to locally before being transferred to the hospital on Monday. Bronny's status is stable and he is not in intensive care, according to the statement. The statement said, "We ask for respect and privacy for James' family at this time, and we will update the media with more details.
NFL player Damar Hamlin offered the James family his support at this trying time. Bronny James reportedly wasn't conscious when he was rushed to the hospital.
